Cardiff Volunteer Co-ordinators’ Network (CVCN) event
July’s CVCN will give members a chance to learn about the PQASSO quality standard. This is a standard which is increasingly important when it comes to ensuring that volunteer involving organisations are able to bid effectively. The event hopes to support any volunteer involving organisations that are not able to attend the WCVA Volunteering conference in Llanrwst. PQASSO covers all aspects of an organisation, from governance to service delivery and monitoring outcomes. PQASSO can be used by all types of third sector organisations, including charities, social enterprises, community interest companies and community groups.
Members will be able to find out more about the standard and there will be a question and answer session from Heledd Kirkbride PQASSO for Wales Engagement Officer, NCVO.
Organisations will also be able to hear from Third Sector Officer, Alison Pritchard and find out more information on support available from C3SC.
The CVCN is a joint network run by VCS Cardiff and C3SC.
