We would like to give you the opportunity to share what you do, and for Dewis to share what IT can do for you.

We will have a number of stands and information points available on the day, there will also be an introduction to Dewis with brief presentation.

Dewis is a directory of services which is unlike any other. Dewis was adopted by the City of Cardiff Council following the introduction of the Social Services & Well-being Act in April this year, which places a requirement on all local authorities to provide information, advice and assistance to residents. Dewis has been growing, with over 1000 resources across Cardiff and the Vale, and we are now at a point where we want to launch internally and with partners, share how the system works, why it is different from other directories, and to have an opportunity to network.

It aims to give choice and control back to the citizens.
