This is a really important course for committee members (trustees) of voluntary organisations and employees who work for them.

By the end of the session, you will:·

– Have an understanding of trustee roles and responsibilities·
– Be clear on how aims or legal objects should reflect your organisation’s values or mission
– Identify potential liabilities and how to guard against them·
– The importance of strategic planning which would allow scope to discuss understanding of the external environment and devising appropriate responses, including formal and informal partnerships
