This course gives an overview of recruiting, using and safely managing volunteers. It is designed to support organisations that are new to using volunteers.
By the end of this course you will:

•        Understand the nature and scope of volunteering and how it differs from paid work

•        Recognise how and why organisations involve volunteers in their work

•        Appreciate the resource implications of involving volunteers

Ideal for: any group that wants to start using volunteers or is already doing so but wants to know more about volunteer responsibilities and liabilities.
