The aim of this course is to make students aware of child protection issues and to give them the ability to act on any concerns about the safety and welfare of children and young people.

The course is designed to inform those in the childcare, or social care sectors, of the signs of child abuse, what is regarded as abuse and, more importantly, what can be done to prevent it from happening.

This course is subsidised – there will be no costs associated for delegates from not-for-profit organisations (this does not include statutory organisations for whom normal fees will apply).
