You are invited to the C3SC Members’ Networking Event and Annual General meeting on Thursday 20th October where you will hear from keynote speaker Ruth Marks, CEO of WCVA.

Here is the programme for the afternoon:

• 12.00: Arrival and Registration
• 12:15pm – 1.15pm: Networking Lunch and Third Sector Exhibition
  Lunch, Networking and Exhibition Stalls
• 1.15pm – 2.00pm: Speakers and Question Time
  Keynote speaker Ruth Marks, Chief Executive Officer of WCVA, will be talking about ‘Civic society in Wales – our opportunity and responsibility’. She will consider issues for the third sector in contributing towards sustainability. Including:
  • Key pillars including governance, funding, volunteers, evidence
  • Social, economic and legislative framework
  • Role of local and national support bodies
• 2.00pm – 3.00pm: AGM
• 3.00pm – 4.00pm: Networking and Open 4 Community Funding Surgery
  Opportunity for networking and discussion. Plus receive support from a Third Sector Development Officer who can help you with an Open 4 Community funding search.
• 4.00pm: Close

Plus! There will be a staffed trustee information stand, with a focus on good governance, where trustees can bring any queries and issues for advice and troubleshooting, including support to recruit new trustees.
