FREE and for all the family

A day packed with arts, crafts and performances from around the world, school and community exhibitions plus historical talks and workshops.  

The day has been put together by the African Partnership Group made up of over 15 grass root organisations that aim to break down barriers, challenge perceptions and enable cross cultural understanding via culture and heritage learning activities.  

Black History Month in Wales acknowledges the contribution made by Black people to local, national and world history and culture by delivering an informative educational and celebratory programme annually during the month of October. BHM Wales aims to educate people, challenge negative perceptions, celebrate the positive contributions and promote the history of people of African Diaspora heritage.
