This Cardiff Council course is for staff working in social care – care support workers, senior staff and managers.

The course will cover the following topics:

–      What financial assistance is available when someone dies

–      The importance of a will

–      What happens when no-one arranges a funeral

–      The funeral customs of the different communities in Cardiff

–      The cremation process, via a tour of the crematorium

–      The various options available for burial, via a tour of the grounds at Thornhill

A certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who attend the whole session. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
