Course aims:

This Learning Disability Wales course aims to promote employment for disabled adults by providing an overview of how the benefit system affects disabled adults who are in or entering work. The course will identify how work and earned income affects the benefits that disabled adults claim. The course aims to help participants maximise the entitlement for those that they support who have, or are moving into, paid employment.

 
Designed for:
Anyone working in a support, care or advice role for a disabled adult. It is an introductory level course, and is designed to raise awareness of benefits and would not include any benefit calculations.
