Be part of I belong – Learning Disability Wales’s Annual Conference 2016

29th November 2016 - 30th November 2016

This year Learning Disability Wales’s annual conference, I belong, is around the theme of Community Inclusion. This conference will look at how children, young people and adults are included in their communities, what they can give to their communities and how they benefit from inclusion. Some of the things that will be covered are:

  • Community presence
  • Citizenship
  • Visibility in their community
  • Nothing about us without us
  • Access to community resources and services
  • Rights
  • Responsibilities

The conference is going to be held on the 29th and 30th November in Nantgarw, South Wales. Around 175 delegates are expected per day, which will include people from the voluntary sector, statutory sector and private sector as well as members from advocacy groups and people with a learning disability and their parents/carers.

Would you like to be involved? There are a number of sponsorship and donation options and exhibition space available. With around 175 delegates from the public, private and third sector in attendance each day, I belong offers a great opportunity to raise your profile within the learning disability sector in Wales, and to promote your organisation and services to a large audience over the course of two days.

There are only a limited number of exhibition spaces available and these always go very quickly so if you would like a stand please book now to avoid disappointment. There are different sponsorship opportunities available to suit a range of budgets.

If you are interested in any of the packages available or would like to discuss these further please email or call (029) 2068 1161.
