Dementia Support and Group Activities those who provide support including unpaid carers

Cardiff and Vale Dementia Activities – April to August 2025
A range of activities and support services are available across Cardiff and the Vale for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Sessions include singing groups, memory cafés, carer support groups, and health and wellbeing programmes.
Highlights include:
  • Singing for the Brain – weekly sessions at St Isan’s Church Hall, Llanishen
  • Music and Memory Café – first Tuesday of each month at Cyncoed Methodist Church
  • Sports-Related Activity Group – fortnightly at Cardiff Rugby Club
  • Fun and Friendship Group – for those with young-onset dementia at V21 Sbectrwm Centre
  • Butetown Memory Café – fortnightly sessions focused on brain health and memory support
There is also a Peer Support Group for Carers available online via Zoom, alongside the Live Well With Dementia programme and Carer Information and Support Programme.
