Dementia Care Training – 2025–26 Prospectus

The Dementia Learning and Development Team at University Hospital Llandough is offering a comprehensive programme of training sessions designed to support staff and partners working with people living with dementia. These sessions are informed by the Good Work Framework for Wales and include practical, evidence-based approaches to care.

Training sessions include:

  • One in a Million

  • Barbara’s Story

  • Carers Count

  • Meaningful Engagement

  • Dining with Dignity

  • Learning Disability and Dementia

  • Enhancing Dementia Care with Music

  • Building Dementia Skills – Positive Approaches to Care (3-day programme)
