The IWA (Institute of Welsh Affairs) are running a workshop to keep developing their Understanding Welsh Places project.

It’s taking place on Thursday 20th October, 1:30-5pm, at the Spark building on Maindy Road, Cardiff.

Run in partnership with WISERD (the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research and Data), the workshop will be looking specifically at disability and access to transport. The aim of the event is to gather people with a range of views and experiences about issues related to access to public transport (bus and rail), along with transport professionals and policymakers – to discuss barriers and potential solutions, as well as develop some research questions to guide further investigation.

The IWA are hoping that some participants can also bring an understanding of co-production to the table. If you are available and interested in participating, please contact Marine Furet directly: marine.furet@iwa.org.uk

Transport costs will be reimbursed.
