Cardiff and Vale Drug and Alcohol Service (CAVDAS) has released its updated free training calendar (July- October) for professionals and volunteers across Cardiff and the Vale.
Courses cover a wide range of substance use topics including ChemSex and sexual health, harm reduction, naloxone administration, safer injecting practices, and drug awareness. Two new sessions – Exploring Ketamine Use and Substance Use in the Night-Time Economy – have also been introduced in response to emerging needs.
Training is open to those working in health, social care, third sector, and community roles. Spaces are limited, and attendees are asked to cancel in advance if unable to attend.
