Cardiff Council Budget Consultation – Have Your Say

Cardiff Council is inviting residents to take part in its Budget Consultation and share their views on proposed priorities for the year ahead.
Despite ongoing financial pressures facing local authorities across the UK, Cardiff Council has confirmed that, following the budget settlement from Welsh Government and effective financial management, no reductions to frontline services are required this year.
The proposed budget aims to support the most vulnerable residents, protect frontline services, and prioritise investment in education and social services.
Residents are encouraged to respond to the consultation and answer the questions provided by 1 February 2026.
