Cardiff and Vale Advocacy Gateway Helpline

Cardiff and Vale Advocacy Gateway (CVAG) is a single point of contact helpline for adults in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan to access independent professional advocacy (IPA) or other advocacy based on their care and support needs.

We can help you if you are aged over 18, living in Cardiff or The Vale, and are receiving social care / support from social services (or think you should be), or if you are a care / support professional, practitioner, carer, or other person concerned about someone’s social care and support.

Intended to be the first port of call, this free telephone helpline can be contacted on 0808 8010 577, Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm, for advocacy-related information, advice and assistance.

Covid has had an impact on advocacy (and other support service) availability and delivery; as restrictions ease, and services reset, we will ensure to do everything we can to keep up to date with any changes and to get you the advocacy support you need.
