Welsh Government has launched a formal consultation on the refreshed Active Travel Act Guidance (ATAG) 2026, inviting feedback to help shape how walking, wheeling, and cycling are delivered across Wales.
The consultation is supported by Transport for Wales and is open until Friday 13 February 2026. All feedback received will be reviewed and used to inform the final version of the guidance, with a summary of findings published on the Welsh Government consultation website.
