Christopher Olusola

Trustee

Christopher joined C3SC’s Board in August 2026.

I came to Cardiff in 2022 and have made the city my home, drawn to its strong sense of community and its vibrant, well-connected voluntary sector.

I am a Chartered Manager and certified Business Analyst with an MBA and over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership and governance roles. Much of that career was in West and Southern Africa, where I led regional banking business across Nigeria and Zambia with a workforce of around 800, and helped deliver a national financial inclusion programme reaching over two million people. Since moving to the UK I have worked in the private & public sector, most recently with the Ministry of Justice.

I want to be part of the solution leveraging on my leadership and governance experience to support the organisations that help Cardiff’s communities thrive, and to contribute to shaping C3SC’s strategy at an important moment for the sector.

Since arriving in Cardiff I have been involved with the Third sector, worked briefly as a Generalist Adviser with Citizens Advice Cardiff and Vale and volunteering as a Business Mentor with The King’s Trust, which has given me first-hand insight into both the pressures facing local communities and the value of the voluntary sector in responding to them.

I hope to bring strategic thinking, financial and risk oversight, and the perspective of having built and governed organisations in very different regulatory and cultural settings, helping C3SC and the local voluntary sector to grow in reach, resilience and influence.
