Cardiff City of Languages Fair

The Cardiff City of Languages Fair is a celebration of the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of Cardiff. Organised by C3SC in partnership with Cardiff Central Library Hub, the fair will bring together community schools, and organisations supporting minority communities in Cardiff to showcase languages and cultures, strengthen connections between communities, and highlight the important role that multilingualism plays in the life of Cardiff.

This free event will showcase members of C3SC – the community schools that run on Saturdays or Sundays in Cardiff. These schools support children and young people in learning to read and write in their heritage languages while also exploring their native history and culture.

🌐 Languages represented will include:
Arabic, Chinese, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Spanish, Ukrainian, and more.

Organisations that support minority communities will also be present, and Menter Caerdydd will provide information about Welsh-language activities available in Cardiff. Schools are planning to organise arts and crafts activities, and there will also be cultural performances for attendees to enjoy.
