We are delighted to invite you to the ‘From Global Convention to a “City for CEDAW” event, which will take place at Cardiff Business School on 23 March and the morning of 24 March 2026.
Hosted in Cardiff, Europe’s first ‘City for CEDAW’, this landmark event marks the 40th anniversary of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) – a defining milestone in the global movement for women’s rights and gender equality.
The event will bring together leaders, academics, practitioners, and advocates from Cardiff, across Wales, and around the globe, including delegates from the UN CEDAW Committee, to reflect, connect, and drive progress toward gender equality.
