NSPCC Baby Steps Service

The NSPCC is launching a new perinatal support service for parents-to-be in Cardiff called Baby Steps.

About Baby Steps:

  • An Evidence-based Perinatal education programme
  • Focus: The programme helps parents prepare for the birth of their baby and the early weeks of parenthood, focusing on building strong parent-child relationships, promoting positive mental health, and enhancing practical parenting skills.
  • Delivery: 6 pre-birth group sessions, 3 post-natal group sessions. Home visits for assessment and post-natal check in.

Referrals:

  • Now welcoming referrals for the first two groups via phone 02920 10 80 80 or email waleshubadmin@nspcc.org.uk
  • Both professional and self-referrals accepted
