Interviews for Trustees’ Week

C3SC marked this year’s Trustee’s Week on 6-10 November by recording the latest 2 videos in our ‘A Day in the Life of…’ series with 2 trustees with different backgrounds and experiences to highlight how different perspectives enrich the role of being a trustee.

C3SC’s Volunteer Centre Development Officer, Callum Jones, and Marketing and Research Officer, Judy Li, worked together to record, film and edit the videos and share them as part of our communications through the week to promote awareness around being a trustee, and to encourage people seeking new opportunities and challenges to take the next step and find out more.

A series of questions were asked, with Nirushan Sudarsan, a young trustee at Grange Pavilion and Paul Keeping, C3SC’s own trustee taking part to share their respective journeys. The questions included asking how the journey began and what the motivation was behind wanting to become a trustee.

Nirushan reflected on his experiences so far and said, ‘Grange Pavilion has been a big part of my life since I was a teenager. I’ve been part of the youth forum there, and I’ve grown up with the building so I thought this was a good step in making a bigger contribution and thinking really strategically about what Grange Pavilion could do for future generations’.

If you are interested in discussing becoming a trustee or looking for opportunities, please contact us on enquiries@c3sc.org.uk or call 02920 485722.
