The 2023 Minority Ethnic Communities Health Fair is taking place at City Hall in Cardiff on 4th October 2023, from 10am-3pm.
Please scroll down to access leaflets in multiple languages.
The purpose of the Health Fair is to support individuals from different ethnic backgrounds, become more aware of their own health needs and to enable health providers to improve their understanding of community health issues.
The theme this year is ‘Get Healthy! Get Stronger! Let’s get together to reduce health inequalities’.
This successful event is now in its thirteenth year and is chaired by Race Equality First. The planning committee is comprised of representatives from Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, CAVAMH, C3SC, CCAWS, Diabetes UK Cymru, Diverse Cymru, Hindu Council Wales, Sight Cymru, The Mentor Ring, Eyst, Hayaat Women Trust, Muslim Doctors Cymru and Women Connect First.
Health organisations can sponsor the event and have a stand for £40 to provide information on services and health awareness initiatives to Minority Ethnic Communities in Cardiff. The event is always well attended and provides valuable engagement opportunities. Information on sponsorship and booking a stand is attached along with the evaluation report from last year’s event and a poster to share with your networks.
