There’s still time to become a Champion with Time to Change Wales

With the aim to end mental health stigma, Time to Change Wales have partnered up with EYST Wales to help reduce the negative connotations that having a mental health problem has in society and in various cultures which only worsens the situation rather than help it. That’s why, we are looking to recruit 10 Champions from ethnic minority backgrounds who can share their story and make others aware that they are not alone.

You can read Rahila’s story which dates as far back as 35 years ago. Being a Champion is as much about campaigning as it is about sharing your lived experiences.

The next round of Champion training is happening on Thursday 23rd June, 9:30am – 3:00pm.

To register your interest, please email info@timetochangewales.org.uk with the following:

  • A contact phone number in case of last minute changes
  • Notification of where you are based in Wales

Please note Champions are required to show photo ID on Day One of training to be verified before training can begin.
