Bridgend County Borough Council is working in collaborating with Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organizations in order to commission Third Sector services to deliver open access provisions for young people within Bridgend. Small grants will be available to Third Sector/voluntary provisions within community areas across Bridgend, in which there is little to no universal open access services currently available to young people.
Grant offers will depend, amongst other factors, on need and demand within each area/service, and are likely to range from a few hundred to a few thousand pounds. Each application will be scored and considered by a panel consisting of the commissioning representativenfrom the statutory sector, the Chief Executive Officer for BAVO, and a representative of the voluntary sector youth services. Each application will be judged based on the ability to meet the funding criteria, which you can request.
If you wish to apply for a grant through this process, please email sarah.keefe@bridgend.gov.uk for the guidance notes and application form. Alternatively, you can write to Sarah Keefe, Family Support Team, Central Hub, Civic Offices, Angel Street, Bridgend CF31 4WB.
The deadline for the applications will be 4pm on the 24th June 2015.
