The Planning Directorate at Welsh Government are currently working on the National Development Framework, which will set out a 20 year land use plan for Wales. They are looking for citizens and groups to participate in helping gather evidence, develop vision, objectives and options.

Having just released the draft Integrated Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report – They are keen to consult and welcome views from all. This important consultation will help steer the development of the Integrated Sustainability Appraisal of the NDF. The integrated approach to the appraisal will ensure that they are able to look at the contribution the NDF can make to Wales’ seven national well-being goals, and embed the principle of sustainable development at all stages, provided for by the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
