#CIW2017 Resilient Communities and the Third Sector

18th January 2017

Following Carl Sargeant’s, AM and Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Children, announcement in October 2016 that a new approach is needed to build resilient communities, and the need for a cross-government approach to boosting prosperity across Wales. Children in Wales believes that the third sector will have a huge part to play in this, so why not join them at the conference entitled “Resilient Communities and the Third Sector?”

Through presentations and round table discussion, you will hear from a wide range of speakers who will focus on involving the third sector in the current children and families’ work programme, including Together for Children and Young People Programme, Social Services and Well-being Act, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Children’s Zones and supporting the implementation of Successful Futures.

By attending this Children in Wales conference you will not only benefit from the latest information and experience of the presenters, but also have the opportunity to participate in exchanging views with other delegates. As well as improving your knowledge, the conference will also provide valuable opportunities to network.

For further details and to reserve your place, please visit www.childreninwales.org.uk/events

Exhibition opportunities will also be available at the conference and to reserve a space please send an email to membership@childreninwales.org.uk
There will be a cost of £50 for this (in addition to the delegate fee).
