Living Wage Summit
One in four workers in Wales does not earn enough to afford a basic standard of living. Many organisations and the majority of the public think this is deeply unfair – so what should be done?
The Bevan Foundation’s Living Wage Summit is a unique opportunity to explore how to achieve a step change in the number of Living Wage employers and employees. You will learn about the Bevan Foundation’s recommendations for Wales and Cardiff Capital Region, and hear from leading experts in the field. There will also be opportunities for discussion and networking.
The Living Wage is key to reducing poverty and increasing equality (especially gender) and it would be a great shame if the spare places went to waste. Attendance is free but there will be a £35 charge for people who book but do not attend.
