Immigration rules related to eligibility for housing and related benefits are constantly changing. There is a growing number of migrants and refugees with complicated immigration status, with no recourse to public funds or no eligibility for housing/benefit support. In addition. the government is introducing Right to Rent Checks obligation for private sector landlords and housing associations.
This short seminar will offer an introduction to these subjects and suggest practical solutions in relation to supporting tenants and applicants.
