The costs of heating have increased significantly and more households are finding themselves in fuel poverty.
The conference consists of workshops and speakers and will cover the correlation between fuel poverty and ill health, identifying the signs of fuel poverty, details of the new Citizens Advice prepayment meter campaign, and Big Energy Saving Week. Speakers are Duncan McCombie (Director Energy Saving Trust Wales) Lee Parry (Head of NEST), Andrew Regan (Energy Policy Manager Wales – Citizens Advice Cymru) and Teresa Perchard (Vice Chair Fuel Poverty Advisory Group)
The event is aimed at agencies and service providers and anyone who works with vulnerable consumers.
Cost of the conferences is £25 + VAT per delegate, which will be used to cover basic costs (lunch will be provided).
