Introduction to legacy fundraising

4th December 2013

Legacies are a significant source of income for many third sector organisations, small and large, providing around £2 billion last year.

However, there is much potential for growth in legacy fundraising. Although 56 per cent of the public gave to charity in a typical month last year, only 7 per cent of those who die currently leave a legacy. This WCVA half-day course explores how to maximise legacy fundraising opportunities.

By attending this session you will understand how to:

– Create a plan for legacy fundraising
– Understand what motivates people to leave a legacy
– Develop appropriate cases for support
– Implement legacy fundraising activity
– Ensure your organisation complies with relevant legislation and best practice
– Know where to go for further information, help and advice

Price: £10.

Book your place via the WCVA website.
