This Shelter Cymru course highlights the linked problems of increased levels of drug use amongst people who are homeless, the increased risk that this drug use poses, and the barriers to services for people who are homeless and use drugs. Participants will gain an understanding of the links between homelessness and drug use and how to address key risk factors for homeless people who use drugs.

By attending this course delegates will be able to identify barriers to services, and strategies to overcome these barriers. Delegates will gain an increased awareness of different services for homeless drug users, and will be able to develop strategies for addressing the short, medium and long-term needs of drug users who are homeless and vulnerably housed.
