A one-day Learning Disability Wales course designed to explore practical and creative ways to better engage and communicate with young disabled people.
 
Course Aims
This course will give you tools, games and resources for use when planning services, consulting with or communicating with young disabled people.
 
The course will cover:
·        Why it is important for young people to participate in planning their services
·        Look at good practice examples
·        Briefly look at policy around participation
·        Try out some methods
·        Provide resources to work with after the training.

People planning with young people, planning services for young people and/or those wishing to develop their communication skills with groups of young people.
