Protecting your charity from risk and fraud
26th July 2012 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
The vast majority of people working in the voluntary sector are honest and committed. However, charities are not exempt from fraudulent activity – as is evident from recent press reports. It is therefore vital that organisations know what the dangers are and put in place sensible measures to prevent or detect fraud.
This WCVA seminar will help make you aware of the ‘danger signs’ and of the sort of controls needed to minimise risks. It will also provide a refresher on good general and financial risk management.
This seminar is hosted by Watts Gregory, chartered accountants and business advisors.
Lunch will be provided before the seminar.
