Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) and BBC Cymru Wales invite you to a free, half-day workshop at Broadcasting House, Llandaff. Our morning session is fully booked and there are limited spaces on the afternoon session (2.00-5.30pm).

Are you responsible for your group’s dealings with the media?

Do you want to publicise your project, or improve the way you get your message across?

In this interactive workshop, senior newsroom staff will discuss:

· the way the BBC Wales Newsrooms operate

· the basics of what makes a good news story

· hints and tips to help you get your message or success heard

You will be asked to describe your experiences with the media, your current approach to getting media coverage and what you intend to do in the future. You’ll also be asked for a handful of the latest press releases you’ve issued and to describe any examples of success you’ve had getting into the media.
