Introducing Quality Assured Lifelong Learning (QALL) – the benefits for third sector organisations

22nd February 2012 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

·         Does your organisation deliver training courses within the field of social care?

·         Do you have service users who have identified training needs for professionals and want to develop a course?

·         Would you like to work in partnership to develop some specialist, accredited learning?

·         Would you like to find out how to develop quality assured, accredited units endorsed by the Care Council for Wales (CCW) and CQFW (Credit and Qualifications Framework Wales)

The new QALL programme presents a very exciting opportunity for third sector organisations across Wales to support the development, and/or delivery of specialist and unique learning that can be quality assured, accredited and then promoted as part of a national learning framework. The QALL sits within the Credit and Qualifications Framework Wales, and is being fully supported by the Care Council. If you would like to find out more, please come along to a CCW/WCVA-led event:

Programme features:

1.      Setting the context – from the Welsh Government on CQFW

2.      Introduction of QALL and practical demonstration of QALL tools by CCW

3.      Learning from others session –  featuring third sector organisations who have already started using QALL

4.      Group activities – to explore opportunities, challenges and joint working

5.      Personal action planning session – to identify next steps
