A half-day course facilitated by Children in Wales

This short course is aimed at all professionals who work with children and families and who share information with other professionals concerning children ‘in need’ and children who may be ‘in need of protection’.

The course will include:

•Sharing experiences and dilemmas
•Clarifying issues about information and consent, including consent for medical examination and treatment
•Examination of relevant case law
•Working in groups to discuss scenarios and agree actions
•Increasing awareness and confidence when sharing and seeking information aimed at safeguarding children and young people
