What is GDPR?
GDPR is a 21st century approach to data protection, it aims to provide more protection for individuals and therefore more privacy obligations for organisations.
GDPR Resources for third sector organisations
New GDPR resources for the sector will be available soon.
WCVA is producing a range of new bite-size information resources and templates to support organisations with GDPR compliance.
The resources include an information sheet, web page and an animated short film (coming soon) that will cover the key changes to data protection law.
WCVA are also delighted to be working with the law firm, Hugh James, on the development of a suite of GDPR compliant templates that third sector organisations will be able to adapt to their own requirements. These will include model data protection and document retention policies, privacy notices, and checklists for data protection audits and privacy impact assessments.
Keep an eye on WCVA’s newsletter and website for updates on when the resources become available and remember to view the series of #Desktopdata webinars below to help you prepare for GDPR.
