The briefing highlights examples of initiatives taking place across the NHS in Wales to develop primary and community care services and support integration.
Examples within the briefing include:
· The one-stop diagnostic service at the Grange University Hospital in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
· Dental Academy opening in Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, which aims to tackle shortage of NHS dentists.
· Cardiff and Vale University Health Board opens the UK’s first syndrome without a name clinic (SWAN).

· Public Health Wales NHS Trust implement a new Cervical Screening Information Management System.
· Swansea Bay University Health Board becomes the first area in the UK to use Consultant Connect in dentistry.
· Velindre University NHS Trust launches artificial intelligence chatbot to support patients, their loved ones and members of the public.
· Advanced Paramedic Practitioners in the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust leads to fewer people needing to be taken to emergency departments.
