The training will help you improve your knowledge on welcoming volunteers to your organisation. It would be suitable for volunteer managers, coordinators, supervisors, team leaders and individuals who have responsibility for recruiting, training and managing volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to apply and will be allocated a space, on a first come first served basis. By the end of the course, you will:

• Understand the nature and scope of volunteering and how it differs from paid work​
• Recognise how and why organisations involve volunteers in their work
• Appreciate the resource implications of involving volunteers

Date: Tuesday 16th May 2023

Time: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm

The training will be hybrid, taking place on Microsoft Teams and In person at Butetown Communitty Centre. The link will be sent through within 24 hours of the training taking place.
