The UK Community Renewal Fund (UKCRF) aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK, creating opportunities to trial new approaches and innovative ideas at local level. The project seeks to connect businesses, the third sector and local people in more seldom heard communities and support people to increase their opportunities to engage in employment and enterprise by developing relevant knowledge and skills.
As C3SC’s UKCRF employability program draws to a close, we are inviting opportunities to support member groups and organisations to enable people who are on lower incomes or are further from the labour market to access a range of training and support options to enhance their chances of gaining and progressing in employment or build local businesses.
We are keen to support voluntary and community services to participate and support the involvement of their service beneficiaries in order to refer and help to sustain the delivery of our project. We are particularly looking for third sector groups and organisations that can engage with more seldom heard groups and support participants to gain new skills and upskill through work experience and training, which will lead to being better placed to make informed choices about getting into employment and enterprise. Expressions of interest are invited from third sector organisations across Cardiff. We are working with short timelines, and will be able to provide funding of up to £2500 to support third sector groups and organisations in Cardiff with the cost of running their proposed activities.
Please submit the form below by 12pm, on Thursday 8th December 2022. All activities will need to be started in January 2023 and a short report submitted to us no later than 12 noon on Friday 31st March 2023
