Funding from the Comic Relief Community Fund in Wales to support community led organisations.
After the delivery of a successful pilot scheme, Comic Relief has confirmed a new round of funding to fund community led action bringing about positive, lasting social change throughout Wales.
Comic Relief and Third Sector Support Wales (TSSW) partners recognise the great work that community led organisations do across Wales and want to help organisations to build their own capacity in a sustainable and impactful way.
C3SC will be administering a small grants programme of £70,000 to organisations across Cardiff and the Vale.
The aim of this fund is to ensure that comic relief grassroots funding is reached by the community groups leading change and growth in their locality, enabling them to make positive changes in response to the specific needs of the community. ‘due to limited funding available, and to achieve maximum impact we have set the maximum amount that can be applied for at £5,000.
If you wish to discuss an application of more than £5,000 please contact us ahead of applying, as you will need to demonstrate that your project will be supporting those seldom engaged, most vulnerable and demonstrates additional social values.

Eligibility
Organisations with a socially focussed purpose and an income of less than £250,000 are eligible to apply.
Timeframe
The application window is open with a closing date of 27 June 2022.
The earliest activity can begin is the 22 August 2022 ending no later than 30 August 2023.
