The Big Give – Funding Application Deadline Extensions

We recognise a number of charities are managing staff absences due to Covid-19 so we have extended the application deadline for the Women and Girls Match Fund until 11:59pm Tuesday 18th January.We are also delighted to announce that applications for the Green Match Fund 2022 have now opened. All match funding for both campaigns is being provided by the Big Give.For details on both campaigns, please continue reading.​​​

Women and Girls Match Fund

The Women & Girls Match Fund is a match funding campaign for charities that are working to improve the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged or underrepresented women and girls in England and Scotland.

All public donations made to participating charities via theBigGive.org.uk during the week of the campaign (8 – 15 March 2022) will be matched by DCMS’ Tampon Tax Fund until each organisation’s ring-fenced match funding award of either £2,500, £10,000 or £25,000 is used up.As mentioned already, the application deadline has now been extended until 11:59pm Tuesday 18th January.For more details on the eligibility criteria and how to apply, visit the Women and Girls Match Fund page.

Green Match Fund​​​​​​​​The Green Match Fund is a match funding campaign for charities which are working on environmental issues as part of their core mission. All public donations made to participating charities via theBigGive.org.uk during the week of the campaign (22 – 29 April 2022) will be matched up to a specific amount.​Each participating charity will be awarded a ring-fenced amount of match funding which will be used to match public donations – either £2,500, £5,000 or £10,000.Match funding is being provided by The Big Give’s Champions. (Philanthropists or funders who are interested in becoming a Champion can contact the Big Give).

The application deadline for the Green Match Fund is 11:59pm Friday 25th February.
