Positive Action Careers Day

South Wales Police will be holding a Careers Day at Cardiff Bay Station on Saturday 10th June. The event is purposed with inviting and encouraging individuals and their families from communities which are currently under-represented in our workforce.

The Careers day coincides with a short recruitment period that we have open and where we are seeking candidates for PCSO and PC roles. Also at the event, we will have people that can talk about other roles we have in areas such as Forensics, Digital, Maintenance, Data Analysis & Intelligence, Administrative roles (many types), Legal, Human Resources, Finance etc.

We are encouraging people to bring their friends and family because there are sometimes concerns when a family member is considering a career with us – and it’d be good to be able to discuss those concerns and fears with the family so that we can hopefully allay any concerns.

There are several open vacancies running at SWP currently which can be accessed here.
