Cardiff Working in the Middle Group

The Cardiff Working in the Middle Group is a forum representing placed and interest-based middle size third sector organisations which aim to work together towards the vision of an independent, strong and values-driven Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in Cardiff that grows sustainably, engages constructively and positively with peers and the Statutory Sector and provides effective influence.

The Cardiff Working in the Middle Group is a forum representing placed and interest based middle size third sector organisations which aim to work together towards the vision of an independent, strong and values driven Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in Cardiff that grows sustainably, engages constructively and positively with peers and the Statutory Sector, and provides effective influence.

Group purpose

Identify opportunities for Cardiff’s VCSE sector and act as an information provider and engagement catalyst across their place or interest-based networks and communities
Identify and tackle common issues for Cardiff’s VCSE sector working in partnership to help find and implement solutions
Develop links with the Statutory and other sectors and share relevant information which supports the aims of the groups and the wider VCSE sector
Oversee key developments and opportunities for the VCSE sector, including overseeing the delivery of the VCSE Strategy for Cardiff, advocating for an independently minded and sustainable sector in Cardiff
Develop key actions around Information, Influence, Inclusion and Collective Action

Membership and all network events are free

The Network meets bimonthly, normally on the first Wednesday of the month. The next meeting takes place on Wednesday 7 December 2022 at 11:00am to 12:30pm. If you would like to be part of this Network, please send your enquiry to: [email protected]
