Funding and Support for Groups Involved in Counter-extremism Projects in Their Communities

Opportunities for Community and Civil Society Groups to Counter Extremist and Hateful Narratives:

Civil society organisations who are working to counter extremism are able to apply for in-kind support through the Building a Stronger Britain Together programme.

Packages of support up to a maximum value of £75,000 are awarded to organisations to expand their capabilities in delivering communications aligned to BSBT objectives:

 Objective 1:Increase the resilience of individuals and communities to extremism

 Objective 2:Build the confidence and skills of individuals and communities to challenge extremism

 Objective 3:Provide and promote direct positive alternatives to extremist narratives
