The third sector in both Wales and overseas are central in creating change. I’m particularly passionate about the role of small charities as they are in right position and have the most accurate understanding to best support and advocate for their communities. Working for small charities in Cardiff, I have been supported by C3SC and know how valuable that help can be; I’m honoured to now be part of C3SC.

Radha Nair-Roberts
Dr Radha Nair-Roberts (MBiocn, Msc, DPhil, Oxon) worked as a post-doctoral research scientist at Oxford and Cardiff Universities until a long term illness (secondary progressive MS) left her with severe disability and having to use a wheelchair, in 2016. Unable to access suitable exercise in the community, Radha founded the community association Exercise for All Wales (EfA) in 2017. As Chair of EfA Radha continues to raise funds and campaign for better access and equality for all disabled people.

C3SC has been supportive to the charities where I work and volunteer, and I hope that as part of the Board of Trustees, I can bring my experiences of working and volunteering in the Third Sector in Cardiff to the service of C3SC and its members.
