Wales National Travel Survey 2025

The Wales National Travel Survey (WNTS) launched on 10th March 2025 and will run until March 2026, collecting data on travel attitudes, behaviours, and transport usage across Wales. The survey includes a travel diary, tracking journeys over a two-day period using Ordnance Survey mapping.

Key publication dates:

March 2026 – Preliminary national-level data

October 2026 – Finalised national and regional-level data

Stakeholders are invited to share their topic preferences by completing a short questionnaire.
