The SURE for Mental Health Community Project is focused on delivering funded mental health training throughout Wales, please see the following sessions they currently have scheduled, all bookable via Eventbrite here, this can be shared within your organisation for staff, clients etc.

In addition to their open sessions, they are also able to provide ‘in-house’ training to staff and volunteers at third sector organisations, so if this was of interest, please contact Jenine Hughes on 01685 379310.

Here are a list of all the sessions they can deliver, which are all provided free of charge and delivered online via zoom. If there is anything you don’t see, but mental health related, let them know as it may be something that they can deliver for you;

  • Active Listening Workshop (2 hours)
  • Active Listening Couse (x3, 2 hour sessions)
  • Bring your own Mug (1 hour social session)
  • Dealing with Loss during COVID-19 (2 hours)
  • Eating Disorders Information (2 hours)
  • Introduction to Mental Health (2.5 hours)
  • Managing Change and Self-care during COVID19 (these sessions can also run separately) (2 hours)
  • Managing your Mind: Anger (2 hours)
  • Managing your Mind: Anxiety (2 hours)
  • Managing your Mind: Assertiveness (2 hours)
  • Managing your Mind: Depression (2 hours)
  • Managing your Mind: Introduction to PTSD (2.5 hours)
  • Managing your Mind: Self-esteem (2 hours)
  • Managing your Mind: Stress (2 hours)
  • Post-lockdown Anxiety (2 hours)
  • Suicide Awareness (2.5 hours)
  • Male Suicide Awareness (2.5 hours)
  • SURE for Mental Health Adolescent Bitesize (x 3, 2.5 sessions)
  • SURE for Mental Health Bitesize (x 2, 3 hour sessions)
