Hub Cymru Africa is a charity set up by the Welsh Government to support the Wales Africa Community.
Their Development Support team work with small and micro charities in Wales. However, their focus is on supporting those about 300 people who work internationally. Predominantly in Sub Saran Africa, though we do support organisations that work across the world. You can find out more them here: https://hubcymruafrica.wales/ and @HubCymruAfrica.
They are keen to reach a wider audience to learn about and celebrate the work of organisations/ community groups in addition to their current network. To celebrate the incredible collaboration between Africa and Wales, Hub-Cymru Africa is hosting its first-ever Partnership Awards.
Open to partnerships existing between Wales and Africa, these awards will focus on solidarity, equity and shared learning. These awards have been split into three categories: Partnership, Sustainability, and Individual Volunteer.
It’s a brilliant opportunity where organisations can win funds towards a specialist consultant to support their work either in Wales or Africa, and continue their amazing work. More information can be found on https://hubcymruafrica.wales/awards/.
